# Description

Use the mark property to select a subset of cards for sort, printing, or further searching.

The mark property of a card can be used to narrow down the action of several commands. For example, you can use the go command in forms such as go to next marked card. The sort command can be restricted to sort only marked cards.

You can also use the mark and unmark commands to change a card mark property.

This property is the equivalent of the "marked" property in HyperCard.
